Travis J. Hensley was born on August
10, 1980 in Plymouth, IN. He was raised in The Church of
Jesus Christ in Argos, IN. He was baptized in the name of
Jesus Christ in 1996 and received the Holy Ghost on July 8,
1998. Bro. Travis was re-baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ by Bishop Robert B. O’Dell in 2006. In May of 1998,
he met his future wife, Nora while on a youth camping trip.
Nora J. Mullet was born on March 20, 1979 in LaGrange, IN.
She was raised in the Amish Church, and when she was 8 years
old, her parents left the Amish and began going to the
Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Goshen. She received the
Holy Ghost when she was 11 and was baptized a week later.
After she and Bro. Travis started dating, she received the
revelation of the name of Jesus Christ, accepted the truth,
and began attending The Church of Jesus Christ in Argos,
IN. She was re-baptized in the name of Jesus Christ by
Elder Calvin B. Pennington on March 28, 2002.
Bro. Travis &
Sis. Nora began dating the summer of 1998 and were engaged
on Christmas Eve of 1998. They were married on May 22,
1999. In August of 1998, Travis accepted his call as an
evangelist and was later ordained in October of 1999. In
September of 2000, they had their first child, Micah
Greggory, and 15 months later, Hannah Elizabeth. In
September of 2003, they left the church they were attending,
and started attending The Church of Jesus Christ in
Pierceton, IN, pastored by Bishop Robert B. O’Dell. Since
that time, they have settled in to their home church, and
hold many revivals, and continue to grow in the knowledge
and grace of Jesus Christ.
Bro. Travis is the National Sales Manager for his family’s
company and travels quite often, taking the family on many
of his trips. Sis. Nora is a homemaker and home-schools
their two children. They reside in Warsaw, IN, 5 miles from
the church in Pierceton. “Since attending The Church of
Jesus Christ in Pierceton, our lives have never been the
same. The teaching we now receive and long for are the “Old
Time” ways. We are so thankful to be under a Pastor and
fellowship with a group of churches that refuse to let down
and compromise the Word of God to be able to fellowship with
those who “were not of us.” 1 John 2:19 We’re truly
thankful for the journey, and even though we’ve come from a
long way off and through many trials and tribulations, we
have found the way, and with the help of Jesus Christ, we
will continue to be faithful until the end. We truly look
forward to assisting Bro. Jarret & Sis. Caryn, and labor for
the youth of The Church of Jesus Christ. It’s truly an
honor to serve with two Holy Ghost filled people, who have a
desire to see the youth prosper in the Lord, and in life.”
